We STOP nuisance and unwanted calls!

Here at the Call Prevention Registry we are an effective organisation in the elimination of unwanted sales and/or nuisance calls. That is not our own appraisal, but what we hear time and time again from our clients.

There are many so called 'registers' out there all appertaining to do the same thing. We are different!

When you register your phone number with us we make this information available to companies who are legally required to remove your details from their outgoing sales lists.

We do not charge the companies for this - other organisations, like the Telephone Preference Service, do.

How do we differ from the Telephone Preference Service?
We are actively communicating with many of the companies who use data on a regular basis. Because we are independent, we are able to provide an individual service when it comes to making complaints. Our complaints procedure is carried out until full compliance results.

We have a dedicated support team who operate from our hi-tech office in Swansea. They are able to handle enquiries on a personal level. In fact, many of the companies we deal with, know our staff on friendly terms.

Under Government legislation introduced on 1st May 1999 and replaced on 11th December 2003 by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, it is unlawful to make unsolicited telesales/marketing calls to individuals who have expressed their wish not to receive such calls.
