The Call Prevention Registry is an Independent Company and an Added Value Service to the Telephone Preference Service
The Call Prevention Registry was established in 2005 with the primary aim of becoming the Consumer Champion in nuisance call prevention. After finding that OUR NUSIANCE CALLS were getting out of hand, we first registered with the Telephone Preference Service which unfortunately didn't have the desired effect for us. So we setup our own independent body which ACTUALLY chases the companies who continue to pester our members with unwanted phone calls. We employ a team of 22 people in our hi-tech offices in Swansea and we work tirelessly for our customers. Our highly trained staff are able to deal with issues, complaints and rogue companies with ease - the law is always on our side. With our customers providing positive feedback about our service, is it any wonder we are all highly motivated to be THE only service you need to put an end to nuisance phone calls.

What do we actually do for you?
Once registered with the CPR, we act on your behalf when any nuisance calls get through to the number you registered with us. In the event of any complaint, we act quickly and take action against the company or companies responsible. We request that your details are removed from their sales lists within 28 days.
Should they not comply with this request within 28 days, we pass on the details of the company to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or the equivalent body in your jurisdiction.
The small fee we charge for our service, covers you throughout the year and you can be assured that we work continuously on your behalf during this time. Our aim is to stop 100% of nuisance calls.
We will keep you informed of the progress we make with any company concerned. We will reply to you within 28 days with the company's response and to advise you on any further measures we need to take.
These types of calls are sadly on the increase due to companies no longer being allowed to contact you directly with their products and services via email and doorstep selling. So unfortunately it has a knock on effect, and these companies are now reverting back to using the telephone to try and sell you something, you really do not want. The Call Prevention Registry was formed to help you put a stop to these calls.
